I am a Graphic Design student at Falmouth University and am entering the 2013 Penguin Design Awards for What a carve up! I was absolutely blown away. One of the best works of fiction I have ever read. I want the cover to create a cover that avoids the usual clichés (especially shirley eaton) because the book has so many more layers than a writer that is obsessed with a scene from a film. so my question(s) to you is;
What aspects of What a carve up! do you feel you would want to communicate with the readership? and which books have you judged by their covers?
