I am new to this forum, so apologies if this topic has been discussed previously:
Having just finished reading The House of Sleep, I am surprised that none of the media reviews or reader comments on Goodreads that I have read have picked up on the obvious influence of the Dali dream sequence in Hitchcock’s film Spellbound. Has this suggestion ever cropped up before ….or is it just me? Perhaps Jonathan can confirm my thinking on this.

I think I recall a mention of Dead of Night, specifically a reference to a character resembling Mervyn Johns from the film, in Touch of Love.
